Many people use ad blockers in their browsers to avoid the display ads on the pages they view. However, this practice could be hurting the sites these folks frequent. Do you use an ad-blocker? Do you feel it affects this sites you visit? How should websites make their money…or should they ?
There is an oft-stated misconception that if a user never clicks on ads, then blocking them won’t hurt a site financially. This is wrong.
